Making Prom Happen 2025: Ensuring Every Student in Peel Has Access to Free Formal Wear

Prom is a memorable event for many students, marking a pivotal moment in their educational experience. However, the associated costs can be a barrier to some. “Making Prom Happen” is a dedicated initiative in the Peel Region that collects donations of formal wear—including dresses, suits, shoes, and accessories—to provide free attire for graduating students in grades 8 and 12. This ensures every student has the chance to look and feel their best on this special day.

Students can register for a time slot to select their outfits, with walk-ins also welcome. The initiative emphasizes inclusivity, offering a safe space for all students, including those from the LGBTQ+ community.
