The federal government has announced a $31 million investment over two years for the Canada Arts Presentation Fund as part of Budget 2024. This includes $800,000 to support TOHU, a performing arts theatre in Montréal, and the Festival Montréal Complètement Cirque, which will feature circus performances throughout the city. This investment aims to support local artists, create jobs, boost tourism, and enhance community engagement. Additionally, Budget 2024 focuses on making communities safer and healthier, building 4 million more homes, providing free contraception and diabetes medications, ensuring access to dental care, and offering $10-a-day child care, aiming for a fairer Canada for all generations.
